Synopsis for "A Warrior's Passing, Pt 2: The Last Stand"
Guy Gardner follows Major Force's trail to the pier, as indicated by the note he left after murdering Arisia. The Major shows up and attacks Guy, but Gardner is too exhausted to use his Vuldarian powers after his battle with the rest of Martika's men. Major Force uses the Vuldarian powers he earned after being injected with Guy's DNA, which leaves Guy at a disadvantage. After a one-sided and brutal battle, Major Force guts Gardner and takes his heart out as a souvenir. Martika lashes out at him, saying she needed Guy alive. But Major Force kills her, saying he free to do as he pleases.
As the sadist walks away, reveling in his victory, Guy's Vuldarian body regenerates itself, restoring his heart with a new organ. Renovated and feeling powerful, Guy strikes back at the surprised Major and shoots a canon at him, leaving a hole in his chest. Guy finishes him off by putting a grenade in Major's mouth, making sure he stays dead.
Later on, Guy carries out Arisia's funeral at Warriors. Many heroes come to pay their respects, including Parallax (Hal Jordan), who says he only wants to honor Arisia and makes a green energy construct of her.
Meanwhile, the Enforcer breaks into the DC offices and confronts the writers and editors for canceling the book.
