Guy Gardner was a member of the Green Lantern Corps and was a member of the same mission that involved Kyle Rayner.

History

Instead of returning to Earth as Kyle had done, Guy went to Oa. When the Guardians were alerted to Kyle's disappearance, they called upon Guy to travel to Earth to find out what happened. He was killed by Hal Jordan after Sinestro convinced Hal that Guy had killed John Stewart, when in reality Sinestro had killed him.
