H.I.V.E. is an evil organization that specializes in training assassins and mercenaries. They sell their services to anyone who can pay for them. This has made them an enemy to the Teen Titans. There have been several leaders of H.I.V.E. including Adeline Kane and Queen Bee. Many of their low-level soldiers are designed to look like bees. H.I.V.E. was created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez, first appearing in New Teen Titans #2. (1980)
