History
H.I.V.E. is a bellicose organization focused on science. Under their leader, the mind-controlling Queen Bee, they worked for Brainiac.
When exobytes rained down over North America, H.I.V.E. agents began collecting them. The main collection point was around a base in the Metropolis Metrodome, where agents were raiding a DEO effort to collect the exobytes. Superheroes and villains were sent into the base to defeat the organization, freeing Booster Gold in the process.
They subsequently retreated to their Moon base, where they restarted their exobyte-collection efforts, but they were once again stopped.
