Synopsis for "Presence"

Swift, the Aryan brotherhood goon who was badly beaten by Ethan's psychic projection, has been rendered vulnerable by all the time he has spent in the infirmary so the Mexican mafia plans to take him out. Ethan learns that he can relax and release the projection and stay in control of where it goes. Turo, the guy assigned to make the hit on Swift, gets Swift's whore, Cindy, to go to boiler room for a romantic encounter with Swift. At first Swift is getting in the mood but then he remembers the terrible beating he received there and vents his anger on Cindy. The more violently he beats Cindy the more excited he becomes remembering what it is like to be powerful. He almost kills the whore when Turo intercedes attempting to make the hit, but even weakened, Swift puts up a pretty good fight against Turo. Turo is saved when Ethan's projection locates Swift and impales him on his own walking crutch. Turo gets credit for the kill and his status raises within the mob. Cindy tries to tell the Aryans that Swift fell on his crutch, but they reject Cindy for letting the Mexican interfere.
