Hardhat is a member of the construction-themed group of super-villains known as Demolition Team. They began as adversaries to Green Lantern, but have plagued several other heroes over the years. He is a former heavyweight boxer whose indestructible helmet and harness allow him to do great damage by charging people.
Hardhat was created by Len Wein and Dave Gibbons, first appearing in Green Lantern (Volume 2) #176 (1984).
