Harley Quinn is a young urban Gothamite fighting gentrification.
History
Outspoken, rebellious, and eccentric fifteen-year-old Harleen Quinzel had five dollars to her name when she was sent to live in Gotham City. Harleen had battled a lot of hard situations as a kid, but her fortune turned when Gotham's finest drag queen, Mama, took her in. And at first it seemed like Harleen had finally found a place to grow into her most "true true," with new best friend Ivy at Gotham High. But then Harley Quinn's fortune took another turn when Mama's drag cabaret became the next victim in the wave of gentrification that was taking over the neighborhood by Kane Enterprises.
Now Harleen was mad. In turning her anger into action, she was faced with two choices: join Ivy, who was campaigning to make the neighborhood a better place to live, or join The Joker, who planned to take down Gotham one corporation at a time.[1]
