Dr. Harleen Quinzel is a psychiatrist from Gotham City.
History
At some point, Dr. Quinzel appeared in a talk show to discuss the psychology of masks.[1] Also during this point, Quinzel started holding sessions with Selina Kyle and Drake Winston.[2]
She later interviewed Joker's ex-girlfriend Alicia Hunt.[3]

- This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the Batman '89 comics and is an adaptation of Harley Quinn. The original character was created by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm and first appeared in the episode "Joker's Favor" of the series Batman: The Animated Series.
- Harleen's appearance is inspired by Madonna.
- Harley Quinn was originally set to appear in the Burtonverse unproduced film Batman Unchained, as a supporting character, written as the Joker's daughter trying to kill Batman to avenge her father's death, with she and Scarecrow teaming up to drive Batman insane and have him committed to Arkham Asylum.[4][5]
