The name of the episode is a pun on two Batman movies, Batman Begins and Batman Forever.

Trivia

This episode includes many references to various DC Comics media adaptations:
- Harley Quinn mentioning "Holy..." is a reference to Robin's exclamations from the 1966 Batman series;
- Bruce Wayne's mindscape as well as Batman and Harley Quinn's stand poses after she is freed from Joker's rocket are homages to the 1992 Batman animated series;
- Clayface suggests to CGI Thomas Wayne's moustache which is a reference to Superman's moustache being removed via CGI in the theatrical cut of Justice League;
- Maxwell Lord's headline from Arkham Asylum states "Tries to wish his problems away" which is arguably a reference to his DC Extended Universe counterpart who tried to use his wish-fullfilling power to "save" the world in Wonder Woman 1984.
