Synopsis for "Harley Quinn vs. Apokolips, Part One"

Overworked Harley Quinn has taken vacation on a Badhnisian beach, and doesn't let anything distract her from not caring. Her mom reminds her that she actually likes her work, as illustrated by Meredith Clatterbuck in her monthly fan comic that Harley reads.

Boom! Lashina and Bernadeth explode from a Boom Tube on the beach, and they are there for Harley, who is unmoved by their Apokoliptic displays of battle prowess. An indifferent Harley flattens Lashina with a half-coconut shell, while Bernadeth stealthily jabs her unconscious.

When Harley awakens, she is being baked cookies — by Granny Goodness herself — and everything will be all better, once Harley is a Female Fury. Beyond Granny's kitchen is the nightmarish Apokolips, which Harley finds "wicked awesome!", and can join so long as she passes the test of the Sinister Snarl.

With her Mallet and a song, Harley smashes the Parademons and grabs her new weapon — becoming known as Hammer Harleen. The new Fury blends right in to the chaos of Apokolips, and realizes that this — this is her perfect vacation, until Granny Goodness comes to her with a task. Harley's indifference quickly gets on Granny's bad side, and Harley reluctantly goes below to hunt down an escapee named Petite Tina.

Harley is surprised that no one respects her or will aid her, until she finds "Petite Tina" - a horned giantess - who defends the lowlies that Harley was questioning. Tina towers over Harley, and is ready for battle.
