Synopsis for "Triumph, Part One"
In New York City, a runaway van is stopped by Captain Triumph, though no one recognizes him — and he doesn't recognize a cell phone. Triumph knocks the "dreadful control units" from people's hands — they must be the tools of the high priest Sitok!
On Coney Island, Harley goes through her old red and black outfits, and thinks about the simpler days with the Joker. Her mom reminds her how horrible the Joker was, but Harley is having trouble leading a normal life. Into the middle of their lunch falls Captain Triumph, followed by police in an armored vehicle who have no way of stopping him, and he leaps away.
Harley is slightly impressed with Triumph, and wants to find out his name. She calls upon Jonni DC by threatening continuity, but Jonni is already dealing with the multiple versions of Donna Troy from another universe, and asks Harley to hold Captain Triumph until she can deal with him.
Captain Triumph has already invaded the mayor's mansion - though he remembers Mayor LaGuardia - and not the current one. Agents from Checkmate force him outside where Harley helps him escape, and takes him to Coney island for some nostalgic Golden Age sights.
Things are going well until Harley lets slip that it was she that caused Triumph to be marooned in the 21st Century, and Triumph lifts her by the neck, because Harley Quinn has got to pay.

Notes
- The Captain Triumph that falls through the cracks in continuity in this issue, is the original Golden Age hero. Not only does he have the same power-set, associates and ghostly twin brother; Triumph does not recognize a cell phone, he believes the Mayor in New York City is La Guardia, he recently battled fascists, and Triumph refers repeatedly to the High Priest Sitok - who he battled and saw die in Crack Comics #57. The implication is that Captain Triumph has been taken from a point in time before the conclusion of his battle with Sitok - and thus 1948.
