- It--It worked... I did it! My Disaster Dial did the job! I humiliated her in front of millions! Congratulations, Harley Quinn -- the world is watching!
Harley Quinn (Volume 3) #53 is an issue of the series Harley Quinn (Volume 3) with a cover date of January, 2019. It was published on November 7, 2018.
Synopsis for "Minor Disasters!, Part One"
Social media is awash with Harley Quinn's new popularity, but she is getting worn down by the constant need to post. She begins to create make-up a video, and insult her subscribers until Coach stops her and demands better content to keep their numbers up - numbers that are generating revenue to pay for all the damage that she and Captain Triumph caused. Despite that, Harley's mom thinks that she should just be herself.
Elsewhere, Major Disaster's daughter Penny cannot get her father's attention. She has created her own Disaster Dial and just wants her father's approval, though her dial only gives people indigestion or a text from their ex-boyfriend.
As Harley Quinn ups her social media game with over 100 million subscribers, Penny sees that defeating Harley is the path towards being noticed, and literally puts a banana peel in front of Harley. All of her videos are derailed by the new villain "Minor Disaster" and her Disaster Dial. As a final humiliation, Penny forces Harley to post her most humiliating videos rather than erase then.
