Synopsis for "The Offer"

Harkey Quinn reads to her comatose mom from her current Year of the Villain issue.

In Harley Quinn number 64, Harley defies Apex Lex and will not take his offer, as she is already at her best. Lex rages, as all the monthly titles must be part of the Year of the Villain crossover. He repeatedly ups his offer to Harley, as she hops through various monthly books; battling a naked Bane in Gotham City; Leviathan with Lois and Clark; and a mock ghost with Justice League Dark.

As Harley reads, her friends and family have gathered around her. Apex Lex notes that Harley is no longer in continuity, and thus is irrelevant, but quickly reverses himself and offers to cure her mother's cancer, and Harley's answer is.. To Be Continued. Harley is at a loss, and Death has come for her mother, as no one can escape Death - that's only in comic books.
