Synopsis for "They Part"

In order for Harley Quinn and Power Girl to travel home Power Girl must first "marry" Vartox for his teleportation ring. During the ceremony Quinn asks where the objection part of the ceremony is and as the question is asked a portal appears and sucks the trio - and some cat-like creatures - into it. The group arrive in a world reminiscent of 1950s America and Power Girl immediately realises that Vartox had created this pocket dimension to fill with his "children" and a robotic Kara wife.

Though they give Vartox a moment to explain it is not enough for Kara and she ends up punching him through a condo across the street, this is followed up with the robotic Kara punching Power Girl for hitting her husband. The two begin to brawl but the robot gains the upper hand and then goes for Quinn, though Vartox tries to help, she finds herself trapped on the rooftop but a well placed trampoline saves her and give Kara enough time to mount a second attack. While incapacitated Quinn manages to take a chunk of the android's cabling, lobotomising the robot.

Vartox continues to confess his love as Power Girl ties him up and ultimately he relents and gives up the teleportation ring (though Quinn is jealous of the attention he gives Kara to a degree) and the two heroines are returned to the moment they came from. Within reach of Clock King and the Sportsmaster.
