History
Harry Matthews was a long-time friend of Jason Blood, the human persona of Etrigan. During an expedition to Hell, Harry was damned by Belial who transformed him into a living cushion. Harry the Pillow later returned to Earth, adjusted to his new strange life and befriended the magic creature called the Thing-That-Cannot-Die. Recently the former Wonder Woman known as Artemis exposed both Harry and the Thing as impostors who were actually Demons of Hell, and killed them both. The real Harry later showed up alive and in human form again.
Notes
- Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985–86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and should be considered apocryphal.
