Harvey Bullock became Commissioner of the Gotham City Police Department following the death of his predecessor James Gordon.

History

In contrast to the growing public hysteria against metahumans and generally superheroes, Bullock was supportive of Batman. When the Joker was killed by Batman on live television after the former murdered Robin and Batgirl, Bullock defended Batman's actions.
