This section of the history takes place during Flashpoint, a massive crossover event set in an alternate timeline to the mainstream DCU. History was completely changed when Professor Zoom finally found a way to erase his nemesis the Flash without harming his own legacy.

In an effort to save his mother's life from the Reverse-Flash, Barry Allen unknowingly changes reality, creating a new world in which his friends' lives are drastically different. [1]

In this timeline Harvey Dent never became Two-Face and is instead a prominent judge. He lived with his wife Gilda Dent with their twin children. The Joker (Martha Wayne) kidnapped the Dent's children, which forced the parents to request Batman (Thomas Wayne) for help in their search. Harvey warned Wayne that if he cannot help, then he will destroy everything Wayne owns, including Wayne Casinos.[2]

Chief James Gordon locates the Joker in Wayne Manor. But Gordon was tricked into shooting Dent's daughter, as she has been taped to a chair and had her mouth taped shut with a smile drawn on it, so she is disguised as the Joker. The Joker then appears and murders Chief Gordon.[3] Batman rushes in and manages to save Dent's daughter.[4]

This section of the history takes place during Convergence, a massive crossover event revisiting characters from past eras and realities. The villains Brainiac and Telos plucked them from their own timeline and stored them together, causing them to cross over into each others' reality. Its precise chronological placement and canonicity may be unclear.

Before Flashpoint was erased by Barry Allen going back to the restore the timeline, Flashpoint Gotham was taken by Brainiac and Telos and sealed in a dome for a year. After the dome went down, he was confronted by his New Earth self, who tried to coerce him into killing him to save his city. He ended up shooting Renee and apologized while he is dragged through a portal.[5]
