Trivia
- Vice President Dan Quayle appears in this issue. He is only referred to as the Vice President and is never clearly seen, his face is obscured or hidden in every panel, but it is clear this is who it is supposed to be.
- This issue is dedicated to Steve Ditko, the creator of the original Hawk and Dove, as well as the Creeper, the Madmen, and Punch and Jewelee, who all appear in this issue. Additionally, the force-field vest that serves as a macguffin in this issue is similar to the one worn by Shade, the Changing Man, another one of Ditko's creations.
