Hawkgirl used a dart gun.
History
When Hawkgirl discovered that she would require heavy duty firepower in order to tackle the alien threat of Blackfire, she called upon Batman for assistance. Batman referred her to an aging reformed weapons dealer known as the Mole. Fortunately for Kendra, the Mole lived in a retirement community in St. Roch. The Mole was immediately smitten with Hawkgirl and provided her with a custom-made dart gun. The dart gun came in handy, when Kendra needed to fend off the vampiric advances of the Female Fury known as Bloody Mary.
Hawkgirl's dart gun is a magazine-fed semi-automatic crossbow with a pistol grip. The gun's darts are upgraded with taser technology. Each one is equipped with a self-contained electrical charge, the duration of which lasts five minutes at full strength per dart.
