- Longevity: A Thanagarian's life span is significantly greater than that of a normal human being. At one-hundred years of age, a Thanagarian physically resembles a thirty-year-old Earth human.

This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the DC Super Hero Girls and is an adaptation of Hawkgirl. The original character was created by Gardner Fox and Joe Kubert and first appeared in The Brave and the Bold #34.
Hawkgirl was voiced by Nika Futterman.

Although her real name is unknown, this version of Hawkgirl appears to be an amalgamation between Shayera Thal (by her Thanagarian origin) and Kendra Saunders (by her like-Latino appearance and the fact that she can also speak Spanish).
Hawkgirl's tutor's last name is a reference to Kendra Munoz-Saunders, the character's counterpart in Earth 2.
