Notes
- The stories depicted in this Annual presents retcons of various stories, as those in Flash Comics #1. Also, the weight of the continuity of this annual is debated, since many facts were changed in later stories.
- The first story happens during the Fifteenth Dynasty of Egypt, 100 years after the Hyksos invasion, then probably an approximated date is 1550 BC; Khufu have a surname in this story: Kha-Tarr. He was a Egyptian prince who wore Nth Metal wings to fight the Hyksos; Chay-Ara herself was a Hykso princess, and by the first time since his first appearance in 1940 it is revealed how Hath-Set original incarnation died, killed by a lot of arrows shot by Khufu's Egyptian allies, who themselves had Nth metal wings.
- The second story reveals that Anton Hastur, modern incarnation of Hath-Set during the 1940s, had connections with the Nazi Party, what explains his terrorist attack against the New York subway; Shiera and Carter were neighbours living in the same building (In the original story, Carter firstly meet Shiera during the subway attack [1]).
Trivia
- The Nth metal was a gift of Horus in this Annual; JSA #21 establishes that the Nth metal came from an Thanagarian ship that landed in the Egyptian desert.
- The Pharaoh from Hyksos asks Hath-Set: "But what force could reverse gravity?", what sounds impossible, since the term gravity was coined by Isaac Newton many centuries later.
- Khufu tells that "Our alchemists had long known how to tame lightning in a bottle". It can be a reference to the Baghdad Battery, which can have been the world's first electrical battery.
