Synopsis for "Godspawn, Part 3: Bird's-Eye View"

Shayera Thal begins to have visions of a terrible hawk-like entity. She returns to Naomi Carter. Naomi convinces Thal that she must sacrifice her flight harness and wings as the focus for a ritual that will summon a vision of the entity and confirm its threat. They are successful, but Thal's equipment is destroyed. Naomi says that they must go to Katar Hol in Chicago.

In Chicago, Hol and FerAlyce are being followed by the Bad Blood gang members and federal authorities who want FerAlyce. He is able to elude them and safely place FerAlyce in a hospital. Soon, Hol is struck by another vision of the hawk-like entity. He is saved by Carter Hall who reveals that he too has seen the entity in visions. They meet with some of Hol's allies and go to confront the Bad Blood gang. At first, they attempt to observe, but Hall is strangely possessed by an uncontrollable rage and attacks the gang. Hol and his allies battle the gang, but soon Hol must attempt to confront Hall. The two battle and Hall gets the upper hand.
