Synopsis for "Black Reign, Conclusion"
In the war against Black Reign, Hawkman's secret plan to have The Atom lobotomize the villainous Brainwave is complicated by the presence of Mister Mind. He attacks the alien creature and Brainwave falls in convulsions. Stargirl frees Captain Marvel with Atom Smasher's help and their teammates fight Black Adam together.
From the Amulet of Anubis, Fury appears and assists the team in battle. Green Lantern powers Hawkman's mace to beat Adam into submission and as the two battle to a stalemate over the gravesite of Adam's long-dead family, Atom-Smasher, Captain Marvel, and Stargirl appear on the scene to offer a truce: Kahndaq will remain a no-go zone where Adam can rule the nation in peace. They know that he only wants what is best for his people and as long as that peace is maintained, he won't have any violent ambition.
The two sides agree just as a group of Kahndaqis arrive to protect their leader and the JSA leave. One week later, Brainwave is remanded to his mother's care. Hawkman quits the Society for his perceived failures in leadership.
