Synopsis for "Slings and Arrows, Part Two"
Inside the casino, Ludlow, going by his alias of the Spider, fights against Oliver and Kendra. The son of a former hero turned traitor, Ludlow is a phenomenal archer, but when Hawkman intervenes he cannot keep on going, and tries to flee. Oliver, with his last shot, scratches his aiming eye, virtually ending his career as a marksman. As they all get back, Carter tells Oliver he'd like to see him disappear from St. Roch for as long as he can. Green Arrow understood that him and Carter won't be friends, probably ever, but still has an advice for him: stop being Hawkman for a little bit, get the helmet and the wings off and be Carter.
Hall finds truth in the words of Ollie, and decides to accept an invitation for dinner. Dressing out for the evening, Carter steps inside the Museum's main hall, where Kendra tells him she's surprised to see him like that. Still, she's not ready for an elegant night out, she must change her outfit. That's when Jayita steps out, revealing herself to be Carter's damsel for the evening, with Kendra astonished and a little jealous.
Somewhere else, the Spider practices his aim: Queen condemned him to a life without his arrows. But after a few shots, the Spider discovers that his aim is not a consequence of his vision, and once again shoots arrows like a sniper. He'll come back sooner than what Green Arrow expects.
