Synopsis for "Origin"
In a far distant past, Ktar Deathbringer traveled across worlds ruthlessly slaughtering innocent men and women to offer them up as a sacrifice. He worked with his fellow Deathbringer Idamm to murder as many as possible to feed the appetite of their dark lord until one day, a vision of an unnamed woman appeared to Ktar urging him to stop his mass murder. After haunting him across several planets that he genocided, her urging convinced him to rebel and die while fighting back against the Deathbringer god. In the afterlife, he was given two choices: he could be judged for his wicked ways now and be punished as a spirit or he could be reincarnated repeatedly across time and space until he had saved more lives than he had taken. He chose the latter and was also tasked with fending off the return of the Deathbringers, who lived on in a dark realm amassing power before their return to the universe.
In the present day, Hawkman comes to on his Nth Metal starship and he realizes that this vision of Ktar was him in his first life: he now knows why he is reborn and the ship that he made in a previous life is leading him to learn of another reincarnation from his past on Krypton.
