Helena Kosmatos is the Fury, a long-lived superhero[1] and former member of the Young All-Stars.[2]
History
As a teenager, Helena Kosmatos was granted superpowers by the Erinyes of Ancient Greek myth, Alecto, Tisiphone and Megaera, in order to achieve revenge against the Nazis for killing her loved ones, under the codename of Fury. After this, she joined the World War II superhero team Young All-Stars, with whom she remained until their eventual disbandment.[3] At some point, she also had a daughter, Hippolyta Trevor, who followed in her footsteps as the second Fury of Infinity, Inc..[4]
Decades later, even though she was over one hundred years old, Kosmatos eagerly aided Donna Troy in covertly entering the nation of Markovia for the opportunity to strike against Baron Bedlam, son of a Nazi collaborator.[1]

Notes
- Fury was created by Roy Thomas, Dann Thomas, and Tom Grindberg, first appearing in Secret Origins (Volume 2) #12. However, Fury first appeared as part of Prime Earth continuity in Stargirl: The Lost Children #1 by Geoff Johns and Todd Nauck.
- Helena Kosmatos was the mother of Hippolyta Trevor in post-Crisis continuity, taking the place of her pre-Crisis mother, the negated Golden Age Wonder Woman. In Infinite Frontier-era continuity, Wonder Woman's Golden Age career[5] and Helena Kosmatos[1] coexist, making Hippolyta Trevor's parentage ambiguous. However, recent works have retconned that away, establishing Hippolyta as the true Golden Age Wonder Woman[3], similar to Post-Crisis, seemingly resolving the ambiguity.
