Helios is the Titan god and personification of the Sun.
History
Helios is tasked with tripping daily across the sky, distributing light and heat on earth, being revered even by the Olympian gods.[1]
The Titan Sun god is the son of Hyperion and brother of Selene the Moon and Eos the Dawn,[2] and the immortal sorceress Circe is his daughter.[3]
Although Helios is identified with the Sun itself, in the Hellenic pantheon he shares the title of Sun god with the younger Olympian god Apollo, who is able to use the power of the Sun.[4]
