Notes
- The narrative, as well as John Constantine's words, suggests that the demonic embodiment of sports violence, Havoc, was responsible for the Heysel tragedy in the Vertigo Universe.
- On May 29, 1985, 39 Juventus supporters were killed (and over 600 injured) following a crowd crush and stadium wall collapse during violent clashes before the 1985 European Cup Final between Juventus F.C. and Liverpool F.C. at the Heysel Stadium in Brussels. The Heysel disaster is recalled as one of the greatest tragedies in the history of football.
- This issue is reprinted in Hellblazer: In the Line of Fire.
