Hellgrammite is a mutated human with insectoid features, acting as a supervillain and enemy to Superman. His powers stem from a genetic experiment that gave him incredible strength and agility. This also includes an ability to transform others into his larvae, making weaker subordinate versions of himself. He has been a member of Intergang. Hellgrammite was created by Bob Haney and Neal Adams, first appearing in The Brave and the Bold #80. (1968)
