History

Origin

Henry Bucher was a young man who was kidnapped by a crazed doctor. Drugged and against his will his brain was taken from his body and implanted into that of a four-armed ape.

Powers

• Unique Physiology: Henry's new body is that of a genetically altered ape, created by Dr. Rhonda Lorre for experimentation purposes. Henry is now trapped in this body.
  • Superhuman Strength: Grunt has four superhumanly powerful arms capable of hurting Superman.
  • Superhuman Durability
  • Superhuman Agility
  • Superhuman Speed: Grunt can move fast enough to catch Superman by surprise.

Weaknesses

• Diminished Intellect: Grunt's brain transplant wasn't perfect and left Henry with a diminished ability to control his animalistic rage.
