Quote1 "Stein you chose him over me? THAT'S WHO I'M SUPPOSED TO BE! I deserve the Firestorm Matrix. Quote2
-- Henry Hewitt src

Over the course of several years, Henry Hewitt has had a long list of anger related felonies against him, resulting in court mandated anger management classes. Professor Stein was dying as a result of not being Firestorm for so long, so the team at STAR Labs opted to find a new host. After doing some research, Caitlin discovered Henry Hewitt was a possible match, unaware of his anger issues. Henry originally came off as friendly and excited over the idea of becoming Firestorm, however soon grew angered at the idea that he and Stein couldn't fuse. Later that night, after yelling at his superior, Hewitt discovered the failed fusion granted him the ability to generate flames himself. Seeking revenge for the humility, Hewitt sought out Caitlin and found her talking to Jefferson Jackson, the other potential Firestorm. The two escaped his wrath where Henry deciced to attack Central City High School's football Stadium, where he was confronted by both The Flash and the new Firestorm. He is ultimately stopped when Caitlin realizes Hewitt's powers are tied directly into his emotions. So both Flash and Firestorm infuriated him to the point where he burned out. Afterwards he is mentioned being locked up in the pipeline until he cools down.
