Hercules was a demigod son of Zeus and half-brother of Wonder Woman.

Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year Four

Hercules was taking a walk in Olympus with Ares and telling him that he envied his trips to the mortal world when the god of war commented that Hercules was the demigod of nothing, while Hercules got initially angry he calmed down when Ares said that all the gods had become useless and said that the mortals needed to beput back in its place.[1]

When Sinestro interrupted the fight between Superman and Wonder Woman he was among the gods who intervened on Earth.[2]

When Diana refused to join the gods's side and attacked Hermes he fought her and Yellow Lantern but was interrupted by Superman, who was easily dealt with.[3] Before he had a chance to kill Diana, Shazam intervened and defeated Hercules who asked Billy to finish him. Billy refused but an enraged Superman returning to Earth dealt the killing blow and ended the demigod.[4]

Powers

  • Demigod Physiology: As a son of Zeus Hercules possesses great abilities that set him apart from common mortals.
    • Decelerated Aging: As a demigod while Hercules does not ages and cannot die of old age he is not truly immortal as while he is in the mortal plane he inhabits a mortal body that can be killed.[4]
    • Dimensional Travel: Hercules can travel from Olympus to the mortal realm.[2]
    • Superhuman Durability: Hercules has displayed incredible physical resistance. He was completely undamaged by Yellow Lantern attacks and resisted the combined assault of Wonder Woman and Superman.[3] He could also endure many blows from Shazam who possessed his very own strength in addition to the powers of many other gods. Still his resistance to injury is not absolute as Superman charging him at full speed from space was enough to kill him.[4]
    • Superhuman Stamina
    • Superhuman Strength: Hercules has displayed enough strength to casually jostle Ares.[1] During his battle against the Regime has delivered blows strong enough to make Wonder Woman and effortlessly destroy Yellow Lantern's constructs. He also punched Superman so hard that he sent him flying in space.[3] Due to being Shazam's source of strength he was also able to match him blow for blow for a prolonged time before being ultimately overpowered by the hero's other divine powers.[4]
