Hermes is the messenger of the Olympian Gods and the god of trade, thieves, travelers, and many other things.
History
Hermes is able to move quickly and freely between the worlds of the mortal and the divine aided by his winged sandals, playing the role of the psychopomp or "soul guide"—a conductor of souls into the afterlife. His main symbol is the Caduceus, a winged staff intertwined with two snakes.

- Superhuman Speed: Hermes can run and move at speeds imperceptible to the human eye. Only Flash was capable of seeing Hermes.[4]
- Invisibility: Hermes imperceptible speed allows him to become practically invisible, allowing him to deliver messages without being seen except for the people who can match him in speed, like The Flash.[4]

- Telepathy: Hermes used this when he and the other gods (Hephaestus, Artemis, Eros, and Eris) have entered a mortally wounded Superman's mind and put him through a series of tests to see if he's worthy of being saved.[5]
