Synopsis for "Lady Luck Wore Black!"
Roger Conway, a State Department employee, takes a doctor mandated holiday and goes to Monte Carlo. On his first day there, a car almost hits him, but a mysterious woman tells him he'll be alright because she is Lady Luck and she's given him a four-leaf clover charm. The next day, scaffolding falls towards him, but Lady Luck appears again and gives him a rabbit's foot. Next day he visits the casino and is losing, until Lady Luck arrives, gives him a magnetic horseshoe and he starts winning, and continues to win in the coming days,. Then he leaves the horseshoe in his room, so he buys another at a curio shop. He still wins, but confronts Lady Luck because he noticed that the magnet she gave wasn't magnetic. She admits she's Alice Barry, an actress, and the accidents and the casino wins were set ups. He takes her to the police and she leads them to a spy ring which was using the horseshoes to pass stolen government microfilm; as Conway had Diplomatic Immunity he couldn't be searched by the police.
