Synopsis for "Kronos..Zagros..Eborak!"
A man named Harold is ordered by the Attorney General to investigate a group of Satan worshipers. Harold arrives at a house where the satanists gather and he is invited inside. He is instructed to drink wine from a chalice and his mind goes blank. The satanists repeat a certain chant Kronos, Zagros, Eborak and instruct Harold to remember the phrase. After a while Harold is released but he has no memory of the events that he has experienced. He begins to type up a report to the attorney general when the phone rings. The person on the other end mumbles the phrase Kronos, Zagros, Eborak which sends Harold into a trance. He then approaches the Attorney Generals niece and implores her to lock him up. The niece suggests that Harold go to a gym that is currently deserted this time of day. Harold arrives at the gym where he encounters the Attorney General in a steam bath. Harold again hears the mysterious chant Kronos, Zagros, Eborak and attacks the attorney general. The two men struggle and the attorney general winds up killing Harold in self defense. He then asks his niece to back up his story that he was attacked and only killed Harold in self defense. The niece seems to agree but she then falsely confesses to authorities that her uncle may have killed Harold on purpose. The attorney general is found guilty and faces the possibility of the gas chamber for his crime. It turned out that his niece was a member of the Satanist cult which he was investigating.

Synopsis for "Your Epitaph Is Only A Birthday Card"
Two men have a discussion in the hospital. A young man, who's friend is dying, and another man waiting for the birth of his child talk about goals. The young man believes in reincarnation and so takes life's events as they come feeling that whatever be will be. The older man does not believe in reincarnation and says that one must fight for what one wants in the world. The younger man's friend dies and the other man's wife gives birth so they both leave the hospital. The irony is that the man who doesn't believe in reincarnation leaves the hospital with a son that is the reincarnation of a warrior who was slain long ago just as he had achieved his life's goal.
