A doctor who has perfected a technique for duplicating human beings is contacted by a mobster who wants him to make a duplicate of his murderer son. He plans on handing the duplicate over to police while his son stays in hiding. The doctor provides the duplicate but the mobster wants to ensure his silence so he has him bumped off, but since the doctor has made a duplicate of himself, the duplicate informs the police and the mobster, his son and the assassin are all arrested and convicted.
