Synopsis for I...Vampire!: "Lovers Living, Lovers Dead"
Andrew Bennett follows Mary, Queen of Blood forward through time into Maine during 1964. He rescues a young girl named Deedee from drowning, and is taken in by her parents Evelyn and Jack Brewster. Later that night Mary appears and threatens to murder the child if he doesn't give up his time-traveling ring. She reveals that the child is a young Deborah Dancer and decides to kill Bennett anyway when he agrees.
In the future, adult Deborah Dancer is struck by a vision of Andrew Bennett saving the young girl. Dmitri Mishkin believes she may have a psychic connection to the past, and hires a professional to hypnotize her. Deborah looks back through time and is able to take control of her past self long enough to save Bennett from death. He survives, but has lost his means of traveling through time to follow Mary.
