Synopsis for "Maidenhead"

A tribe of werepeople occupy in this story the role of Palestinians living under Jewish occupation. The protagonist is a young girl who is impregnated by a thief when she first comes into season. Her father has the litter aborted and murders the doctor. He exiles her from her family and tells her that she is lucky because in his father's day, they would have stoned her. She is taken in by a man who has had his wife and daughter killed by the Jewish analogues of the story. She performs the duties of a wife for him when he drinks. She meets a young man whose family allows him to court her, but the man who took her in tells them she is a whore. The young man's family convinces her to become a suicide bomber in order to achieve redemption and when she enters the story's analogue of Jerusalem, she feels the hatred of a lifetime arise within her. But when a little Jewish girl spits at her, the hatred leaves her and she feels only empty. She drops the explosives in a dumpster and wants to see her lover one last time to explain, but when he sees her, he becomes enraged. They both transform into were-creatures and he pursues her down the streets. The Jews gun him down and she finds herself at the doorstep of the House of Mystery.
