Synopsis for "Snake's Alive!"
Denton Yates and Judi McGraw arrive on an island chain with natives wearing snake tattoos. What Judi doesn't know is that the natives plan to sacrifice her to their snake god. Denton is impatient to leave, but since the natives are pampering Judi before they sacrifice her, she doesn't want to go. Denton spies on the natives, seeing that they worship a poisonous snake, so he gets the idea of leaving the snake basket by Judi's hut. In the morning when she opens the basket and the snake bites her, she panics and runs, accelerating the poison's flow to her heart, and she drops dead. Denton carries her body, meaning to show the terrible accident to the yacht crew so they'll want to leave, but the enraged natives pursue him. He's captured and made to serve as the sacrifice to the snake god instead, which turns out to be a REALLY large snake that comprised the entire island chain with its body.
