House of Secrets #150 is an issue of the series House of Secrets (Volume 1) with a cover date of March, 1978.
Synopsis for "A God by Any Other Name"
Phantom Stranger arrives at the House of Secrets and tells Abel of exorcist Father John Christian and his friend Rabbi Samuel Shulman who were known for exorcising supposed possession of machines and other man-made objects between 1891 and 1894. Dr. Thirteen soon shows up and dismisses such stories as nothing but mass hysteria.
However, Marie calls in a panic because the appliances in their home have run amok. The Phantom Stranger tracks down the source of not only the Thirteens, but a worldwide revolt of machines to a demonic computer, which the Stranger destroys.
Later after explaining it to Abel, and the Thirteens, the Stranger once again pulls one of his vanishing acts.
