Howard Chaykin (b. October 7, 1950) is a writer.

Professional History

Howard Chaykin is an American comic book artist. He began his career in 1972 working for Infinity Magazine. Later he was hired by Marvel Comics to work on the title Fear. His first published work for DC Comics was in 1972 on the title Forbidden Tales of Dark Mansion. Later on, he worked in many titles such as Tarzan, Star-Spangles War Stories, Sword of Sorcery, Weird Worlds, Superman, The Shadow, Detective Comics and many more.

Most recently he has contributed to titles as Batman, Green Lantern Corps, Superman Unchained and Flash in some of the alternate cover art. He is also working for Image Comics and Marvel Comics.
