History

When Wayne Foundation allowed Harleen Quinzel to have access to Arkham Asylum, they warned Hugo Strange beforehand, knowing he wouldn't be keen on Bruce Wayne pushing a staff member on him. He didn't approve Harleen's idealism and her theories on the origins of madness, but he unwillingly let her to go on with her research. Weeks later, he confronted Harleen once again, this time for her carelessness when diagnosing the Joker. He was fired following an unspecified incident, which tainted Arkham Asylum's reputation and credibility for the foreseeable future.
