History
When threats from beyond land, sea and sky threaten America, the Human Defense Corps was intended to be the first response. Their first deployment was to Bulgravia, against "Durlans", who turned out to be Vampires.
Although the Corps was intended to be used against extraterrestrial aliens, their most famous set of deployments were against a minor duke of Hell. This campaign ended when the Corps invaded his domain, ousted the ruling group and installed one of their own (Montgomery Kelly) as the new ruler.[1]
The Corps has come under the purview of Project 7734, but since they now are a part of the regular Army, they would only be deployed in the event of the United States officially declaring war on New Krypton.
