Les Humanoïdes Associés is a French publishing house, known for publishing sci-fi magazine Métal Hurlant - better known in North America as Heavy Metal.
History
While also having a great inspiration on creators in the sci-fi genre, many artists and creators who worked for Humanoids have also worked for DC Comics.
Briefly, in 2004, DC Comics and Humanoids forged an agreement wherein DC would publish English translations of collections from earlier Humanoids publications.
