- If the Geraldine aren't around and the neighbours won't do anything and nobody else gives a damn whether this woman is in pain... then I'll always be 'dressed oddly'! It will always be 'important to me'! I'll always be out to protect people like her!

Huntress #13 is an issue of the series Huntress (Volume 1) with a cover date of April, 1990.
Synopsis for "The Talking Cure"
Helena Bertinelli has a recurring nightmare where she is attacked by the man who sexually abused her as a child, and then Tony Angelo appears, and tries to pull her away. Helena finds herself with a hood over her face as she is being tugged in opposite directions by the two men, until suddenly, her body rips in half.
When she awakes, she discovers that she was awakened by a scream on the roof of her building. She dons her costume and investigates. On the roof, a woman who has just been sexually assaulted is thrown off the edge of the building by the thugs who harassed her. Fortunately, Huntress swings by just in time to catch her. The girl pleads for Huntress to let her attackers go, and leave her alone. She lets the thugs go, but takes the girl to a community walk-in centre.
A Dr. Evelyn Rosen wonders what interest Huntress has in this girl's plight, and remains unconvinced by the vigilante's justifications. She offers her card, stating that she has a private practice, and would be happy to help Huntress deal with her issues.
The next night, Helena has a nightmare in which she is assaulted by the thugs, and thrown to her death. She awakes, deciding to take Dr. Rosen up on her offer. She adopts a fake name and explains her dream to Dr. Rosen, who is understanding and helpful. When their time is up, Dr. Rosen mentions in passing that the assault victim that Huntress had saved wrote the location of her attackers in the Dr.'s notebook. She looks the other way as Helena pockets the notebook.
Huntress tracks down the thugs and beats them down, leaving them for the police to handle. She leaves a message that the night now belongs to the Huntress.
