Huntress #15 is an issue of the series Huntress (Volume 1) with a cover date of June, 1990.

Synopsis for "Out There in TV Land"

Huntress fires some knockout gas into the apparent race-riot going on in New York City's waterfront district. She hopes to save the masked man calling himself the Waterfront Warrior from being overwhelmed by thugs, and the gas gives him the edge he needs to take out the rest of the thugs. He grabs the leaders of the two rival gangs and forces them to agree to a boxing match, to settle the issue. All of this is caught on camera for the Mike Cobb show, much to Cobb's chagrin, considering that he has been ordered by mob boss Angelo Brancati to make the waterfront district seem like a bad place to live.
Helena visits her therapist, Dr. Rosen, and wonders if her place as a vigilante is diminished by the Waterfront Warrior's presence. Dr. Rosen suggests that Helena is actually jealous of the Warrior, challenging her to accept that the Huntress may no longer be needed.
Meanwhile, the Waterfront Warrior prevents a woman from leaving her baby in a dumpster, while a group of prostitutes volunteers to raise the baby for her. Later, he breaks into a drug dealer's apartment, warning them to stay out of his area.
Cobb's producer Tad tries to encourage him to book the Warrior on his TV show, but because of Cobb's connections with Angelo Brancati, he refuses. Tad decides to book the Warrior anyway, and Cobb hopes to be able to discredit the vigilante, so as not to face Brancati's wrath.
The Waterfront Warrior recalls his past, where he grew up idolizing superheroes. He was forced to join the army to get out of the gangs, but when he finally returned home, he found that his mother had already died because of a greedy landlord's failure to take care of his residents. It is revealed that the Warrior is actually Hector Ruiz, Helena's landlord.
Elsewhere, Huntress overhears that Brancati has hired one of the thugs from the riot she witnessed earlier to shake down some squatters in the waterfront district, in order to show that the place isn't safe to live. The thug gathers a gang, and she follows them to the building. Meanwhile, the Waterfront Warrior realizes that the squatters are in his building, and hopes to employ them to fix up his buildings.
The gang breaks in, frightening the squatters, and the Warrior is cornered and outnumbered once again. Huntress looks on from the shadows.
