Hustace Throckmorton was the Human Bomb's sidekick, with an explosive super power in his feet.

Hustace Throckmorton got a blood transfusion from Roy Lincoln, which resulted in his developing a similar explosive super power, but it was focused through his feet.[1] He assisted in the arrests of several criminal gangs.

Powers

Abilities

  • Chemistry: Once he created a perfume which made Honey-Bun irresistible to men.[2]

Weaknesses

  • Throckmorton's explosive powers work only through his feet.
  • Throckmorton just can't resist pretty women, even though he is engaged to Honey-Bun.[2][3][4] He even stalked one woman.[5].


  • In her early appearances Honey-Bun was tall and strong, had white hair and was Hustace Throckmorton's wife. In later appearances, she was retconned as red-haired, at least 10 years younger and was considered only Hustace's girlfriend.
  • Hustace received an article in the book The League of Regrettable Sidekicks by Jon Morris.
