Hyperius is the Superman of Earth 8.

History

A powerful superhero on Earth 8 that mysteriously vanished shortly before the rise of the Dark Monitor. Eventually he reappeared alive and fought alongside the Retaliators to stop dark matter beasts from attacking his world.

• Hyperius is a pastiche of Hyperion of Marvel Comics, himself a pastiche of Superman.
• A version of Hyperius existed in the pre-Flashpoint Multiverse, joining the Supermen of the Multiverse to aid in the battle against Mandrakk.
