History

In the 1930's, the Grand Conyo Dam was built near Iberia. It put the small town on the map, but in the nineties, the dam was in decline. And one fateful night, it burst.

The entire Conyo Reservoir hurled itself at Iberia, destroying buildings and roads, and killing several inhabitants. Luckily, the newly formed "Heroes" set up a rescue effort. Mostly due to Donner and Iota, the dam was plugged, but it took most of the following day to take care of all the floodwater. The incident put the Heroes on the map, and once again led national media attention to their hometown Dakota City.
