Idris Elba (b. September 6, 1972) is a British actor who portrayed William Roque in The Losers and Bloodsport in The Suicide Squad.

Idris Elba is a celebrated British character actor who first rose to fame for his work on the TV dramas The Wire and Luther. He is best known for his roles in blockbuster action movies, such as Heimdall in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, Brixton Lore in Hobbs & Shaw, and Knuckles in Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
Elba's first work for DC Entertainment was as William Roque in The Losers, a film based on the Vertigo title of the same name, in 2010. In 2021, Elba returned to DC cinema, this time as Bloodsport, the lead in James Gunn's The Suicide Squad. The character and performance were well-received along with the rest of the film, and Gunn has teased a return of the character somewhere down the line in his new DC Universe.
